The unemployment rate in Nova Scotia dropped slightly in June to 6.5 per cent. Statistics Canada says that’s a drop of 0.6 per cent from May. After holding steady for two consecutive months employment increased with the economy adding 4,800 jobs. Nationally, the unemployment rate dropped slightly to 6.5 per cent with 18,000 jobs created across the country.
