Lunenburg RCMP is on the search for a suspect in a robbery in Cookville. Police say the man tried to leave a store on Pine Grove Road without paying for merchandise on Monday. Bystanders tried to stop him, a struggle ensued, and the suspect hit one of them. The man was wearing a white, blue and red plaid button-up shirt, a black ballcap with a red and white design, blue jeans, and grey and white sneakers. Witnesses noted that he walked with a noticeable limp and used a walking cane, which he left behind. Anyone with information about the man is asked to call the Lunenburg District RCMP.
