Kings District RCMP is investigating the protest involving Premier Tim Houston in Wolfville. The RCMP were called to Acadia University yesterday when protesters blocked the premier and his staff from leaving a speaking event. Police say an individual climbed onto the windshield of the vehicle carrying Houston and smashed it. No injuries were reported. One person was arrested at the scene but was later released without charges. Police do not believe the person arrested was involved in preventing the premier from leaving or the damage to his vehicle. RCMP are looking to identify the people involved.
