Atlantic premiers along with their counterpart from Ontario met with New England governors yesterday to talk about tourism. The American governors say the tariff war and talk of Canada becoming the 51st state has hurt their tourism industry. The governor of Massachusetts says tourism to her state and others is down somewhere between 20 and 60 per cent. Premier Tim Houston was skeptical the meeting would shift U.S. President Donald Trump’s position on tariffs.
