New, higher water rates have been approved for Town of Lunenburg water customers. The Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board approved the increase as of July 1st. Water bills are issued quarterly in March, June, September and December. The new flat residential rate will be $185.85 a quarter, an increase of $14.46.
