It’s the winter that just won’t give up. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of the province. The weather agency says snow will begin late Sunday afternoon and persist well into Monday. The heaviest snow is expected Sunday evening and into Monday morning, although Environment Canada says it may intensify again during the day on Monday. The snow is expected to be wet and heavy as temperatures remain near the freezing mark. Up to 14 centimetres of snow is predicted for the District.
