The Bridgewater and Area Lions Club is looking for support for its Community Pantry, a vital resource for local families and individuals facing food insecurity. On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., you’re invited to drop by the food court area at South Shore Centre and make a donation. Suggested donation items include non-perishable canned goods, pasta, cereal, rice, juice, bread, jam, peanut butter, canned milk, and condiments. In addition to food, other items such as toiletries, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, combs and brushes, dental floss, and other items from eyeglasses to CPAP machines will be warmly accepted.
