Hackers have released personal images of Hammonds Plains-Lucasville MLA Rick Burns and his wife. Burns says hackers accessed files on his devices and released the pictures and videos of he and his wife after he refused to pay them money in a blackmail attempt. Police are investigating. Premier Tim Houston released a statement about the hack and subsequent blackmail attempt, saying, “We cannot and will not accept a climate where serving your community in public life makes you and your family a target for extortion.
