Two people were arrested, and RCMP officers seized a firearm during a traffic stop on Highway 12 near Lunenburg. Last Saturday, Lunenburg RCMP officers came across a vehicle stopped on the highway. Two people were asleep in the vehicle, beer cans and a firearm were also found. The pair was arrested, and the loaded shotgun was seized. A 21-year-old from Martins Point faces three charges, including impaired driving and unsafe storage of a firearm. Another 21-year-old from Bridgewater faces firearms-related charges.
