There’s still no word on when evacuees of the Annapolis County fire will be allowed home. The county says it is up to the Department of Natural Resources and with the wildfire still burning out of control it is not safe to lift the evacuation order for any area. A time frame for when residents will be allowed to return is not available. Annapolis County REMO says it is vital evacuees register their most current contact information with the Canadian Red Cross as it will be used to let residents know when re-entry will be allowed.
