DORA Construction will be doing the restoration work on the bandstand. The company was awarded the tender for $328, 642. The bandstand has been closed to the public since 2024 when structural issues were found. The restoration includes a new steel and wood deck, a new wood accessibility ramp and new painted railings and benches to match the original design. The work is expected to take 12 weeks.
