We can't wait to welcome you to our (first annual) Discover Downtown Bridgewater Day on May 31st!
Explore NEW, NEW to you, or revisit your much loved businesses and favourite spaces along King Street and LaHave Street here in our Town of Bridgewater.
Park the car (FREE PARKING as it is always on weekends/evenings), and plan to spend the day strolling, sipping, savouring, shopping and soaking up the sights and sounds among the shops and riverside parks here in the heart of Nova Scotia's South Shore.
Think of May 31st as a BIG Open House, maybe even a little Old Home Week 'like' as you meander and pop into explore participating businesses, including:
> 20 Businesses offering in-store features, giveaways, contests, sidewalk sales and some hosting buskers too!
> 20 Restaurants offering delicious and unique 'Taste of Downtown' features - everything from $5 menu samplers to exclusive May 31 treats!
> 13 BUSKING and Music experiences!
Our open call for BUSKERS has been exciting, and when paired with music events, we've got a day-log schedule of experiences and performances popping up in King Street Court, Pijuniskaq Park, at South Shore Centre and along King Street!
